Built by the Marinids in the 14C, this madrasa was completed by Sultan Abu Inan and bears his name. While the courtyard, with its zellige tiles, finely worked stucco and magnificent cedar wood sculptures is a wonderful example of Hispano-Moorish decoration, the prayer room is of equal note, boasting a lofty ceiling made of beautifully carved wood. The cells where students once lived are tiny. From one of them you can observe the busy souk below.
