The Michelin Guide's review
This Gothic church was built from the 13C, on what remained of a Romanesque church, and completed in the 15C. Some of the sketches for the funerary plaques are attributed to A Dürer, others to L Cranach the Elder. Also look out for the novices' altar (in front of the rood screen) and the statues of the benefactors (in the main chancel), which depict Emperor Otto I and Empress Adelaide.
