The Michelin Guide's review
A beautiful tree-lined valley and ore-rich hillsides are part of this 1 500-acre park with lots of opportunities for hiking, camping and outdoor activities. Horseback riding excursions are also available. The park museum demonstrates the major role played by iron here, as the Confederates produced up to 20 tons of pig-iron here every day, which they then transformed into pieces of artillery.
