The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Born in Mazara, Pietro Consagra (1920-2005) was educated in Palermo and Rome, and is one of the main representatives of Abstract art in Sicily. He is associated with the town of Gibellina Nuova because he produced his imposing Stella there, at the entrance to the martyred town, and at the Fiumara d'Arte. Detached from the municipal museum, this room accommodates etchings, watercolours and scale models of his most famous sculptures.
