The Michelin Guide's review
Built in 1270, this beautiful cathedral, built in Apulian Romanesque style, boasts a superb façade embellished with a rose window and hanging gallery. Its walls are adorned with blind arches, while its right-hand side features two ornate portals. The interior, remodelled in the 17C and 18C in sumptuous Baroque style, has retained vestiges of the original building, including the fresco of the Last Judgement (13C-15C). In particular, admire a fine example of popular art as well as a Neapolitan crib (1535).
