The Michelin Guide's review
This palace dating from 1225-1230 was the official residence of the town's chief magistrate. The coats of arms of its successive occupants adorn the façade of the palace, which now houses the Archaeological Museum. Among the Etruscan collections, which originate in large part from the necropolis at Lago dell'Accesa, you can discover the interesting Stele di Vado all'Arancio, the only Etrurian example of a style characteristic of the northwest of Tuscany and the South of France.
