The church the people of Manresa call "La Seu" dominates the town from the strategic platform of Puigcardener, showing off its fine architectural design. Inside, the central nave is one of the largest in Europe; outside, there are 18 double flying buttresses. The collegiate house some remarkable pieces: the monumental polyptich of the Holy Spirit (1394), the largest Gothic retable in Catalonia, and the retable of St Mark, by Arnau Bassa (1346).
