The Michelin Guide's review
A long, winding stretch of sand at the foot of rocky formations, the beach of Għajn Tuffieħa (Ir-Ramla ta'Għajn Tuffieħa, "apple of his eye") is the most beautiful and most unspoiled beach of the three beaches along the northwest coast. It occupies a bay overhung by two rocky cliffs, from which you can see thirteen watchtowers built in the 17C by the Knights. From April, its slopes are a profusion of wild flowers. Bar-restaurant on site.
