The Michelin Guide's review
The collection of artworks bequeathed by the musicologist Luigi Magnani (1906-1984) brings together paintings (14-20C), furniture and sculpture. Paintings by the Italian masters (Filippo Lippi, Carpaccio, Titian and Tiepolo), alongside works by Van Dyck, Rubens, Albert Dürer and Goya, are displayed on the ground floor. The first floor is devoted to modern art, with numerous works by Giorgio Morandi. Nicolas de Staël, Monet, Braque and Cézanne represent French painting.
