The Michelin Guide's review
Forests, lakes and rich wildlife offer a splendid reward for those who take the time to pause here. For centuries, the park's waterways were used by the Mi'kmaq First Nations people - they now enable visitors to explore this largely untamed wilderness. The Mill Falls hiking trail leads through fern-filled woods to the Mersey River and its foamy rapids. Beech Grove trail (2.2km round trip) wends its way through beautiful beechwoods.
