Unitarian Meeting House
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This church by Frank Lloyd Wright (1951) is considered one of the most innovative examples of 20C religious architecture. Metal eaves frame the entry, initiating a spectacular passage to the interior of the Unitarian Meeting House. Wright intended the ceiling's graceful curves to suggest "the wings of a bird in flight".
