Palace of the Cantonal government
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Built from 1557-1564 for the bailiff of Ritter, this building has been the head of the cantonal government since 1804. The second floor of the loggia in the inner courtyard houses a remarkable set of seven baroque works from the early 17C depicting a Dance of the Dead by Jakob von Wyl.
