Glacier Garden
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Some 20,000 years ago, the Reuss glacier covered the entire plain as far as the Jura and its geological treasures were discovered in 1872. A landscaped garden was created around the site to better enhance these finds. The garden, planted with alpine flowers, is home to a panoramic tower and a maze with Moorish-like mirrors. The next-door museum houses, among others, the oldest scale model of central Switzerland (1786) and miniatures of traditional houses.
