The Michelin Guide's review
Housed in a former fish canning plant on the waterfront, the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic is devoted to maritime life in Lunenburg. Exhibits range from the history of the Bluenose and the illicit "rum-running" trade during Prohibition to the development of offshore fishing. Also on display are navigation instruments, ship models and a replica of a 1920s fishing company. Moored at the wharf, the Theresa E. Connor schooner and the Cape Sable trawler can both be boarded.
