This convent church, consecrated in 1515, boasts superb frescoes by leading Lombard Renaissance artist, Bernardo Luini (c. 1480-1532). The most impressive adorns the partition separating the chancel from the nave and depicts the Events of the Life of Jesus. In the 1st chapel on the right, a fresco of the Virgin and Child and St John is reminiscent of the work of Leonardo, Luini's master. In the nave, you will see a Last Supper.
