The Michelin Guide's review
Commemorating the Foundling Hospital, founded by sea captain Thomas Coram whose statue (after Hogarth) stands at the entrance, this museum's main attraction is its art collection which includes works by 18C painters Hogarth, Gainsborough, Reynolds and Ramsey. Also worthy of note is Handel's personal copy of the Messiah.
