The Michelin Guide's review
The Imperial College of Science and Technology (1913), with a neo-Georgian façade, is an enormous group of buildings encompassing the Royal College of Music and the Mining School. They stand in the shadow of the Queen's Tower. Among these is a modern building designed by Norman Foster, the Sir Alexander Fleming Building, which, with its glass façade and its stepped roof, is a feat of both architectural originality and high tech.
