The Michelin Guide's review
The triangle bounded by Kensington Road and Brompton Road forms a typical Georgian residential area, laid out around three squares: Trevor Square (1818), Brompton Square (1826) and Montpelier Square (1837). The houses, with stuccoed ground floors and brick upper floors, are decorated with narrow windows and magnificent balconies. Between these squares there lies a maze of narrow streets, cottages with faded colours (Rutland Street) and railings closing off small flower gardens.
