The Michelin Guide's review
This manor built between 1607 and 1612 for the preceptor of prince Henri, James I's eldest sons, is the best example of James I architecture in London. In brick with stone linking, this manor demonstrates Gothic spirit by its mullion windows and its small dome towers. The central front part, which forms a recessed balcony, breaks the possible monotony.
