The Michelin Guide's review
Greenwich's name is synonymous with the Meridian, and its famously iconic observatory. The area is also very appealing on account of its huge park, its museums (most notably the National Maritime Museum), and its architecture; Maritime Greenwich is in fact a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A pleasant walk past historic pubs along the River Thames provides some fine views of its majestic royal buildings, and the futuristic skyline of the river's north shore and Docklands beyond.
