South Bank has become one of the most visited parts of the capital thanks to the return of property developers to this area south of the river. This is also the starting point of the first section of the Queen's Walk, an attractive footpath along the Thames which links Westminster Bridge with Southwark, Tower Bridge and Bermondsey. Numerous attractions, as well as dance, music and literature festivals, attract crowds to the area.
