The Michelin Guide's review
This church (1729) was badly damaged in 1941. A modern church (1964) was built around the nucleus of the 18C one. The steeple, with its octagonal buttressed lantern crowned by a balustrade and topped by carved capitals, is the most remarkable in the East End.
