The Michelin Guide's review
The gardens at Lismore Castle are laid out around both sides of the castle entrance. The lower garden dates from the 19C, but the yew-lined walk is 300 years old. The upper garden is arranged in terraces and planted with fruit trees, rose bushes, vegetables, bulb flowers, and vines grown in glasshouses. The gardens are home to a gallery that hosts superb art exhibitions.
