The Michelin Guide's review
The Irish Linen Centre is established in the former linen hall where the peasants used to sell the fabric they wove in their cottages. You will find out about the history of the linen industry, from ancient Egypt to the present day, and also be able to watch the complex manufacturing process from the plant to the fabric. The exhibition also showcases spinning and weaving techniques, in addition to striking reconstructions with waxworks. Fascinating.
