The Michelin Guide's review
This imposing religious complex (church and convent) on Graça hill dominates the city. Although the church and convent were built in the 13C, they have been rebuilt on several occasions, particularly in the 16C and after the 1755 earthquake. Note the bell-tower built in 1738 next to the convent doorway. The interior is rococo in style with fine 17 and 18C azulejos. In front of the church is a belvedere offering a panoramic view over Lisbon.
