The Michelin Guide's review
Perched on steep cliffs, Millesgården was the residence of sculptor Carl Milles (1875-1955). Now part of this open-air museum, his sculptures, most of which are copies, blend in harmoniously with the Italian-style terraces, fountains, stairs and columns. The superb views here extend as far as Värtan. The main building displays other works by the artist. The music room contains paintings by Pissarro and Utrillo, while the "monk's cell" boasts a display of Chinese sculpture.
