 Well worth the diversions
Historical and archaeological site
  The Michelin Guide's review
These two sites are nestled between the Rizzanèse and Fiumicoli valleys. In a landscape of scrubland, broken up by chestnut groves and holm oak woods, the Pianu de Levie was one of the major sites of prehistoric Corsica. You visit on foot, taking a shady track that leads you first to the prehistoric Cucuruzzu Fortress, dating from the Bronze Age. A few hundred metres on, you come to the medieval ruins of Capula, stationed on a hillock.
