The Michelin Guide's review
This church was built in the 15C and 16C in the Brabantine Gothic style. It was meant to have three towers but remained unfinished on account of unstable ground. The interior is remarkable for the clean lines of the Gothic nave, with huge pillars rising to the vault in a single sweep. In front of the chancel, the rood screen (late 15C) has three delicate arches and a wooden Christ above it. The church's fabulous treasure is a museum of religious art in its own right.
