The Michelin Guide's review
Le Remblai was originally a sea wall, built on the orders of François I. It was rebuilt in the 18C and remodelled many times, including in the 1960s. Nowadays, this vast esplanade is used by pedestrians and cyclists. Lined with luxurious buildings, shops, cafés, hotels and seaside villas, it hides the narrow streets of Le Passage neighbourhood with its fishermen's houses.
