Located in a former 17C orphanage, this museum dedicated to wildlife and biodiversity is perfectly adapted for children. Exhibits include the re-creation of a cabinet of curiosities, the skeleton of a sperm whale which beached near Ameland in 1994, and an exhibition offering an educational tour beneath the surface of the Wadden Sea.
