The Michelin Guide's review
This vibrant square in the centre of the old town is dominated by a statue of the city's patron saint, Oronzo, on a Baroque column. It is bordered on its south side by the ruins of the amphitheatre, a remarkable throwback to the Roman period in the Salento region. Right next to the amphitheatre, the remarkable Palazzo di Seggio (1592) is a blend of Gothic and Renaissance styles.
