The abbey church, built on top of the rock in the early decades of the 11C, was given a new, Classical façade in 1780. Inside there is a marked contrast between the severe, sombre Romanesque nave and the elegant, chancel, rebuilt in Flamboyant Gothic after its collapse in 1421.
