The Michelin Guide's review
Haut-Andlau château, built in the 14C and restored in the 16C, was still inhabited in 1806. It has Gothic windows set in ruined walls between two big towers. From the terrace extends a view over vineyards, the Alsace plain and the Black Forest on the horizon. From Spesbourg château (1247), you can enjoy a pretty view of Andlau and Ungersberg valleys to the south. A square keep overlooks the main building and its fine gemeled windows.
