An attractive collection of works by the naive artist Henri Rousseau, also known as Le Douanier (1844-1910), who entered into legend through the candour and freshness of his paintings. The museum also boasts canvases by Croatian, German, Brazilian and French artists, the latter including two Laval painters, Jules Lefranc and Henri Trouillard.
