The Michelin Guide's review
The largest park of Quebec (1,510km²) teems with lakes (over 400) and rivers, the most famous of which are the Diable and Assomption Rivers with their magnificent waterfalls and turbulent waters. This splendid recreational site is also home to a wealth of wildlife, including a multitude of birds. Many kilometres of winding roads and tracks attract hikers, particularly in the autumn, when the vivid red foliage of maple trees contrasts with the pale, yellow leaves of silver birch.
