But Thap Pagoda
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The But Thap ("Writing Brush") pagoda, built in the 17C amid the rice fields, comprises several buildings which are home to some outstanding carved and lacquered wood items. In the main room, note the statue of Quan Am sitting on a lotus supported by a dragon, and the statue representing an ascetic Buddha. Also of interest is the splendid bas-relief of animals on the funerary pagoda.
