Some 9km/5.6mi from Lamastre, the cornice road commands extensive views over the ridges that separate the Doux and the Eyrieux and to the right over the Boucieu-le-Roi hillock. Beyond Nozières, a path branches off to the left and a track leads to the ruins of Rochebloine. In a sharp bend to the right, a path leads to the edge of the promontory on which stand the remains of a fortified castle. The view over the upper Doux basin is quite striking.
