This very interesting museum in Guanabacoa provides an effective grounding in the santería, the Afro-Cuban religion. You will learn to recognise the religion's main figures through the colours and attributes associated with them. Also on display are the batá drums used during ceremonies, as well as a reconstructed altar. The town's history since colonisation is also charted.
