Church and Convent of Santa Clara
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
On the corner of Cuba Street and Sol y Luz Street stands Cuba's oldest convent, founded in 1644 and abandoned by the nuns in 1919. The convent houses a superb cloister, which is kept cool by the Fuente de la Samaritana, the first fountain built in the town in the 17C, as well as original wood carvings on the walls.
