The Michelin Guide's review
Two asymmetrical bell towers frame the typically Baroque façade of this cathedral surrounded by palaces on all sides. Built between 1748 and 1777, it is named after San Cristóbal in honour of Christopher Columbus. The façade is the main feature here, although the interior, with its altar, Italian-inspired frescoes, and statue (copy) of the Virgin of Caridad del Cobre, Cuba's patron saint, is also of interest.
