The Michelin Guide's review
Colourful rendering, windows adorned with numerous stained-glass windows featuring geometric motifs, balconies with intricate ironwork and half-closed shutters all add to the timeless charm of this large square laid out in the second half of the 16C. Admirably renovated, it is one of the jewels of this district popular with tourists. The buildings around it are home to cultural institutions, museums, galleries as well as cafés and restaurants. Cuba's photo library and the centre for visual arts are also well worth a visit here.
