Church of the Hospital of Saint Blaise
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Built by the Augustinian canons in the 12C, the church is the last remaining vestige of this complex intended to house pilgrims on their way to Compostela. The compact Romanesque-inspired edifice is a rare example of Spanish-Moorish art north of the Pyrenees. The four buildings of its Greek cross floorplan abut the central tower. Inside, the transept crossing is covered by a lovely eight-sided dome with star-shaped ribbing.
