The Michelin Guide's review
The peak of Mount Aigoual (alt. 1,567m) commands a breathtaking view. In January (particularly on a windy day), it offers exceptional viewing conditions, making it possible to simultaneously depict the Mont Blanc in the Alps and the Maladeta peak in the Pyrenees. In July and August, it is often misty and best attempted either very early in the morning or just before dawn, to be there at sunrise. The Météosite enables visitors to find out more about weather forecasting.
