  The Michelin Guide's review
Presiding over the village, this convent is a bastion of Orthodox Christianity and still home to a handful of nuns. It was built in the late 19C by Mikhail Preobraženski, who also constructed Tallinn's Orthodox cathedral. Of the six churches on the site, the most important is its cathedral, which houses the sacred icon of the Dormition of the Virgin.
