The Puijo Belvedere, a 75m-tall observation tower built on a wooded hill near the town, is Kuopio's most remarkable landmark. It overlooks a landscape of typically Finnish lakes and forests. On the 12th floor, you can take in the splendid views while enjoying a meal in the panoramic restaurant that slowly rotates. A staircase from the 13th floor leads to the panoramic terrace.
