The Michelin Guide's review
The Church of Our Lady is depicted by a lofty façade with a polygonal porch. The ornate interior is abundantly decorated in a variety of styles and colours. The main point of interest, though, is the monumental altarpiece, carved in linden wood by Veit Stoss between 1477 and 1489. Every day at 11.50am, the panels of the 13m-high and 11m-wide altarpiece, adorned with nearly 200 characters, open. The church is also home to a very realistic Christ in stone by Stoss.
