The pride and joy of Kraków, the Princes Czartoryski Museum is housed in three buildings, linked by suspended covered galleries: the mansion, the cloister and the arsenal. During ongoing renovations, Leonardo da Vinci's painting Lady with an Ermine is exhibited at the National Museum. The initial collection, pillaged by the Nazis during the war, was partly reunited, before being nationalised and becoming a section of the National Museum in 1949.
