The Michelin Guide's review
Various wooden constructions from the surrounding villages have been assembled amidst the birch trees and streams, from churches and isbas to "bania" (Russian baths) and mills. Among them are the Church of the Virgin from the village of Kholm, built by two brothers in 1552, and the 19C Erchov isba, typical of constructions from the northeast and vast enough to house livestock in winter.
