  The Michelin Guide's review
A stone's throw from the Turkish coast, the third largest island in the Dodecanese is green and thriving. Kos draws throngs of tourists, doubtless tempted by its sandy beaches but especially for the bustling nightlife. Every evening, the island's administrative centre and port, Kos, turns into a full-on nightclub liable to make the old stone walls shake. The ruins of the magnificent ancient site of the Asklepieion lie southwest of the town!
