The Michelin Guide's review
The Ljutov residence, also known as the Topalov house after its first owner, was built in 1854. Its symmetrical façade is typical of the "Plovdiv Baroque" style. The interior decoration consists of walls painted with floral motifs within medallions, carved wood panels, a splendid oval drawing room and several equally richly decorated rooms (blue dining room and kitchen with a typical fireplace). On the ground-floor, admire the fine natural colours of the Koprivštica carpets.
